Can FASTSTRAPS be used in winter?
Yes. FASTSTRAPS is designed to be used in real conditions, including winter.
Thanks to the quick-attach system, you can quickly remove the strap when you are not using it,
then put it back in place when needed. The anchor plate stays installed in the pickup,
while the strap can be stored in the bed, in the truck or indoors.
The components are made mostly of stainless steel, which helps resist corrosion,
cold temperatures and outdoor conditions. When you want to use it again, simply reinstall
the strap in a few seconds and you are ready to go.
Do I have to leave the strap installed permanently?
No. The anchor plate can stay installed in the truck, but the strap can be removed quickly
thanks to the quick-attach system. This is practical when you do not have cargo to secure,
when you want to protect the strap or when you want to keep your pickup bed more open.
You can then reinstall it in just a few seconds when you need it.
Can the anchor plate be installed in both directions?
Yes. Depending on your installation and load type, the anchor plate can be positioned to adapt
the tie-down angle. It can be oriented upward to secure a taller load in the pickup bed,
or downward to secure a load closer to the floor of the bed. This gives you an anchor point
better suited to your use and to the type of material you are transporting.
What is the load capacity of FASTSTRAPS products?
The universal pickup model is designed for a capacity of 1500 lb per strap.
For enclosed trailer models, capacity varies depending on the model selected. The strongest model
goes up to 2000 kg, which is approximately 4409 lb. It is important to always respect the product limits,
inspect the strap before each use and make sure the load is properly secured.
What is the FASTSTRAPS warranty?
The FASTSTRAPS anchor plate is covered by a limited lifetime warranty, up to a maximum of 25 years,
against manufacturing defects or structural defects under normal use.
FASTSTRAPS straps are covered for 30 days following the purchase date against manufacturing defects,
such as stitching, material, ratchet mechanism or hook defects. The warranty does not cover
normal wear, overloading, improper installation, misuse, accidents, cuts, abrasions or product modifications.
What are the userâs responsibilities?
The user is responsible for the installation, fastening, inspection and safe use
of the product. Before any trip, the user must verify that the load is properly secured, respect the
productâs usage limits and inspect all components before each use. FASTSTRAPS cannot
be held responsible for improper installation, overloading, product modification or use
that goes against the recommendations.
What does the warranty cover in case of a problem?
The warranty is limited to replacement of the defective product or, at FASTSTRAPSâ discretion,
a refund of the product. No compensation may be claimed for cargo loss,
vehicle damage, financial loss, injuries or indirect damages.
FASTSTRAPS reserves the right to inspect the product to determine whether the issue is related
to a manufacturing defect.
